I came across an article today that shows you exactly what to look for when designing a new site or re-designing a new one. This is what I’m going to be doing right here on my blog.

Chris Brogan recommends thinking about the following….

When I go to your website (or blog, or twitter page, or facebook page), what do you want me to do? What do you REALLY want me to do? Don’t answer that right away or glibly. What do you want me to do on your site? How do you want me to feed into your systems?

After deciding WHO your audience will be (always the first step), there’s a number of questions to ask for your audience.

Chris gives a brief but concise outline of these questions making it really easy to design your blog FOR your audience. You can read those questions here.
