Ever wondered how Internet Network Marketing Really Works?

Are you one of the hundreds (more like thousands) of people who are wanting to make it in the Network marketing industry on the internet?

Maybe you’ve been working offline and you’ve had some success or maybe you’ve had no success at all, and you would love to build a huge business on the Internet.

Obviously, there ARE network marketers who are doing really really well on the Internet.

And, there are LOTS of network marketers who are making m’oney, but not nearly as much as they should be!

And there are others who just haven’t found the right path just yet, and are not making any money.

Let me tell you a little about my journey on the internet over the last few years. This story isn’t all about me though, you can learn a lot from it also:-)

I got lucky and I got lazy all at the same time!!

You see, if you want to build your network marketing business on the internet, there are all different groups of people you can market products or opportunities to.

For example,

  • You could target people who are looking to join someone in your company.
  • You could target Network marketers who are looking for a way to build their business online.
  • You could target people who are new to network marketing and looking for an opportunity.

Attraction Marketing is also  Relationship Marketing

Quite a few years ago, “Attraction Marketing” had a different name. We used to call it “Relationship Marketing”, but it was the same thing.

A group of us had been growing our businesses by “building relationships” with people in different communities.

There was one community around at that time, which was for people who believed in the Law of Attraction, and wanted to learn more about it.

I was one of the co-founders of that community and was very active there. I spent way too much time there, as a volunteer building the community for other people. I had blogs and forums and participated a lot!

And as a result, I was easy to find on the Internet! I had pictures up of all my scuba diving trips, and of holidays I had been on.

I had a little story about me and my family on my “home page”.

So, people could get to know me easily. And, I attracted people to my business. One person I attracted was actually looking for someone in my company to join, and has since gone on to attract over 4 thousand people into his own business (and mine).

So…. that’s where I got lazy!!

Don't Make Mistakes

I thought just getting out there giving value in communities and being myself was enough!

So, for a few years that’s what I did and it was fun! I also learned how to attract customers so I sold a reasonable amount of company products during that time.

However, over the last few months, I’ve realised that I’ve just been “pussy footing around” all this time, and I could do much better. Sure, I’ve been lucky and made some m’oney, but I want to do MUCH more than that!

I was lazy because I didn’t get serious about following up with people (by building a list).

I never bothered to work out my sales funnel, so I’ve been missing huge opportunities.

Attraction Marketing is  More than Just Giving Value to Others

Over the years I’ve come to understand that “Attraction Marketing” means much more than just putting yourself out there, and attracting people to you. It works that way to some extent, but there are actions you can take to make it work even better. It’s no good just giving value to people and never asking for anything in return.

It IS VERY important to “be out there” giving value to people, like I’ve been doing.

However, there are other important pieces to the puzzle also.  You can’t just continue giving value to people and expect things to “just happen”.

The following things are also a very important part of Internet Network Marketing:

    Here's the Solution

  • Provide a way to continue your relationship with people who come across you at forums, communities and your blog (i.e. Build your List).
  • Plan how you’re going to make money online – look at how you’re Marketing (or sales) funnel will work.
  • And, work out how you’re actually going to launch your products or opportunity or whatever you’re planning to make money from.

My Goals for this Blog

My goal now, is to help you understand the process and shorten your learning curve, so you can BE as successful as you want to be in a short time.

The first thing I want to offer you is a Quiz. This isn’t just any old quiz, where the answers to the questions just “sit there”.  With this quiz, you will  get a free instant evaluation of your answers.

The evaluation will give you valuable feedback on your online Marketing. So… answer the questions honestly and you’ll receive the kind of feedback you require to take the next step in your Internet Network  marketing!

Without any doubts, it is clear that network marketing goes well when there are good relationships. To be more effective, people who are in the business should educate themselves on all areas of the business and then develop the same in other people too. Amazing!!

Hi Julienne! Internet Marketing is a great income generating business strategy. Your post basically discusses the pro-active way to make the company thrive. I agree that it’s not just about establishing vital relationships, it’s more of making it last longer to mutually benefit the your new contact and your own company in the end. I’ll consider that to improve my client relations.

My company has always been involved in traditional or face to face marketing. Recently, my business partner suggested that we try to make the company visible on the internet. That way, we can sell products and widen our market. With the help of a web designer (Toronto), we were able to launch our own website. It’s very simple and easy to navigate. Also, theweb development (Toronto)company made our site interactive by putting order options for products and comment boxes for client feedback. Now, we are already expanding our market through our company web site. Definitely, it was a good investment.

Great post! I agree that giving genuine value is necessary but not sufficient to grow your business. The best part about it is that people get to know you as a real person whom they can trust. The relationship comes first, then the business opportunity. I look forward to hearing your strategies for systematizing your follow-up!
