Here are the steps to take to find out if there is demand for your product

  1. Find problems that your product has already solved.
  2. Use product testimonials to find problems for your product.
  3. Go to the Google Keyword Tool and type in one of your “problems”. If the problem (keyword) has a Global monthly search greater than 2,000 searches per month, it may be a good candidate for marketing your product.Click here for the Google Keyword Tool
  4. Go to the Google search engine ()http://www.google.com. Within the Search box, type in your problem keyword (the same one that has greater than 2,000 searches per month). Type the keyword within quotes (as shown in the video) so you can see how many web pages are promoting this keyword.
  5. If your chosen keyword has less than 40,000 web pages from 4) above, this keyword is most likely a good candidate for your to use to market your product.
  6. If you can find 2 or 3 keywords, with greater than 2,000 searches and less than 40,000 competing web pages….. your product is in demand and you have a reasonable chance of being able to compete with the rest of the market, and promote it.
