Conversion: Set up a Page About You and Pictures
A great way to create a relationship with people on the internet, is to have a page about yourself, plus some photos for people to see what kinds of things you like and what you look like! This has made a tremendous difference in our business over the last 8 years, and we can’t emphasize how important it is.
The next thing to do is set up a page about yourself, so people can get to know you.
1) Go to your WordPress Blog Administration log in page, this is different from the WordPress Direct Log in.
For example, If your Blog URL is
http://mlm-dognutritionbusiness.com
then your WordPress log in page, will be:
http://mlm-dognutritionbusiness.com/wp-admin
Once you get to the WordPress admin page:
Type in your Username and password, and you will be logged into your WordPress Blog
2) From the menu at the top of your WordPress blog:
Click on Write, then Page
3) In the Title of the Page:
Type the words “About me” ( without the quotes of course )
Then within the Page – type a little story about you. Be honest about yourself and just tell a story.

There’s no need to do a video – you can just tell a story, although a video would be great!
4) Setting up Photos
Go to http://www.flickr.com/
and join for free, then upload a few pictures.
5) Display your Photos on your Blog.
Go tohttp://www.flickr.com/badge.gne
Choose your Badge and your content and colors, then copy the HTML for your badge into your Computer’s Clipboard.
6) Go back to the Admin page of your blog.
From the menu up the top, go to Design, then Widgets
- Scroll down to the Text widget and click on the Add link
- From the Widget, click on Edit
- Paste the Code that you copied from Flickr into the Widget.
7) Look at your Blog and you’ll see your photos on there.
If people click on the pictures, they will get to your Flickr account and will be able to see the rest of your photos.
So, now with your About page and your Photos, you can start building a relationship with your Prospects. They will start getting to know you!
