RESEARCH Discover Ideal Keywords with Low Competition
Finding the actual keywords that people are typing into google is reasonably easy, and there are quite a few tools that provide these keywords. However, not all keywords are equal, some have very few visitors and others have thousands of visitors, but there are also millions of web pages competing for that particular keyword.
Finding Suitable Keywords is the Trick
So, the trick is to find keywords with a reasonable amount of visitors, and not too much competition. Our goal is to get our web page on the first page of google, for our particular keyword, so we want to do a thorough research to have the best chance of getting on that first page.
Look for Product Keywords First
It is much easier to attract customers when you’re beginning this system. So, think about how your product helps you or others you know, then search on those keywords. For example, if you have a health product, how does this product help with certain conditions? If you had a good product result, when you first started taking the product (or you know someone else who did), then use the keywords relating to that result. For example, if your dog had arthritis, then you gave it this product, then look for keywords about “dog arthritis”.
There is a tool called Market Samurai, that makes this research easy, and in this lesson we show you how to use this tool, using a live case study. The majority of people who are searching on the internet, are searching for ways to solve their problems. So, when I look for keywords, I look for the keywords people are using, for which my company’s products can provide a solution to their problem.
