How’s your new year going so far? Mine is great, except it’s taking me awhile to get back into the swing of things, in regard to my Internet Network Marketing business. Does that happen to you after you’ve been on a long vacation?
Sometimes I think it must be pretty overwhelming for someone just staring out on the internet these days. When I first started there weren’t so many choices, and it was much easier!
So, my mission (if you like), is to make it as easy as possible for you!
Now that we’re in a new year, are you wondering which way to advertise your websites, and you’re just not sure? There are so many ways to market, how do you choose between them all?
There’s article marketing, ezine marketing, blogging, videos, facebook, launches, and so many more. Over the next few months, I’m going to be giving you details on each one, just in case you haven’t heard of them all.
And, the best thing to do, if you’re just starting out, or if you’ve been “around” for awhile, and your’e feeling overwhelmed, is….
Choose the strategy that you feel best about.
Read about a strategy, then take a step back and ask yourself.. How do I feel about doing this? When you ask yourself that question, you’ll most likely get an answer back from that little voice inside your head.
Keep going through each strategy until you find one that gives you a good feeling.
Then, stick with that strategy until you’ve mastered it. Don’t move onto another one unless it feels good to do that.
Once you’re making some m’oney, and you feel like a particular strategy is really important, you can do that one! And, if it really doesn’t feel good, get some help.
Either pay someone to coach you, or pay someone to do it for you, or at least help you with it.
For example, Does the idea of creating videos seem scary?
You might find the idea of creating videos really scary. And, video marketing is one of the most influential and effective things to do, both to for your marketing and for branding yourself.
So, if you’re apprehensive about video marketing, then find someone who can inspire you to take baby steps toward making your own videos. Once you’ve got over that fear, it will be easy!
Have a terrific day and I look forward to seeing your comments below.

Julieanne – I’m vert good at overwhelming myself! These are all very good tips. Like the old saying goes – how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!
Look forward to all the posts on each area.

Love that old saying Jodi!
This is going to be great for me since I am constantly overwhelmed. I appreciate the assist and look forward to your future posts on this subject.
I did have one question though. How did you know I had voices in my head?
Anyway, Thanks for the great information.

I’m surprised Jose, you don’t seem like the kind of person to get overwhelmed! And, how did I know you have voices inside your head LOL! Well, I assume that all humans are the same in that area, probably a lot of animals also. At least, I really hope I’m not the only one:-)
Aloha Julieanne,
Oh yes, I remember when I first started here with social media, internet marketing…everything was overwhelming!! Thank goodness for coaches and mastermind groups and just very wonderful friends who helped me when I was doing something that was “bad manners” or not the right thing!!
It took me a while, however, I am finally to the point of feeling good about my internet marketing and social media skills. I still have so much to learn and I am excited to read your future posts as you detail each step. I love people who just get all the “techie” stuff!!
Mahalo (thank you),

Hi Julieanne,
I am new to internet marketing so I can see it’s easy to get overwhelmed and for me it’s best, (once I’ve decided which direction to go in) was just to tackle one step at a time.
For instance Facebook is the first thing I’ve done and now that I understand it I’m starting on my blog and so on.
cheers John

I am 24. I play guitars (advanced) and the piano. I am good at programming and puzzle solving. I am pretty much everything a perfect computer geek needs to be. I am planning to start off a company before which I will need to get a feel of how marketing works on the internet. I would like to create niche blogs but I don’t see where I should start and what topic would be ideal for me. Could you suggest a way for me to get things going.

Hey Julieanne
To avoid being overwhelmed I am a firm believer in mastering one skill at a time.
Of of course it requires patience too

Oh yes, that’s very important Peter. Patience isn’t always easy either, I agree:-)
Great tips Julieanee… I had to listen to that inner voice a couple months ago because I was trying every new strategy. I found my passion with article/seo.
