For years, it seems that a lot of network marketers have forgotten about having customers. Many people focus on business builders, and this is more difficult, because a lot more people want to buy a product, rather than build a business. It’s easier:-)

Customers are really important for building a Network Marketing business because:

If they are regular, they are insurance for our business. A number of customers on auto-ship each month gives a good income. Imagine if you had just 5 distributors who all had 50 customers.

Getting customers is a good business model, so normal people can understand what we do in our business. It makes it easier to speak with and attract recruiters. When they say “what do you do”, we can say something like “we find customers for our business just like AOL does”.

Research shows that finding an entrpreneur takes 1 in 100 people, where as finding a customer is only about 1 in 10.

Some of our best business builders come from our customers. If someone really loves the products, they quite often start telling people about them naturally.

Customers who love the products last for a long time.
