What Causes People to be Attracted to Your Business?

Recently I wrote about my awkward moment when I was totally humiliated after giving a DVD to a swimming buddy.

I am positive most Network Marketers have a similar story or two.
And, that’s what often happens if you’re talking to people who haven’t requested what you have to offer.

So, if you’re marketing to your warm market, chances are there’s a lack of quality in your prospects. By “lack of quality” I mean they are probably not interested in what you have to offer.

And, the other problem is that most Networkers don’t take long to go through their warm market contact list.

It only took one hour (probably less:-) for me to get through my list, my husband took a few weeks after trying really hard.   He had more success than me, but the end result was the same.

You know how on all the company training calls, you are being told to speak to 2 or 3 people every day? And, everyone is thinking “well, where do I find those people?”

Well, that IS really important because you need to have new people coming into your business all the time, and for your team to have people coming in all the time.

So, you must create your own lead generation and marketing machine.

And, of course, the best place to do that is on the internet. A lot of my readers here know that, and ARE using the internet!

My husband and I did all the other things recommended. We put up flyers in shop windows, at laundromats, even delivered flyers in letterboxes, did a lot of newspaper advertising, sent faxes to b’usinesses, delivered magazines to 50 different chiropractor and doctor’s surgeries in our city, sent product to friends overseas, and other stuff that I don’t want to remember.

Boy, we wasted a lot of time didn’t we!

And, after awhile, we ran out of ideas for what to do next. Unfortunately, the only advice our upline had, was to contact more people we know, and go back and speak to the people we’d already spoken to.

So, WE know for a fact, there is literally NO better place than the internet, to generate leads.

Another great reason for using online methods, is that you can reach people in all different countries, you are not limited to your local town or city. It’s very exciting to have bu’siness partners in other countries, especially when you hang out with them, and they show you round their beautiful country.

On the internet, there are dozens of way you can market, some of them being:

• get organic search listings,
• Pay per click marketing,
• video marketing,
• social media, like Twitter, Facebook, Myspace and many others,
• write articles,
• forum marketing,
• blogging,
• banners,
• text links,
• Ezines,
• CPA networks,
• affiliate marketing.

There’s an endless list of things you can do that work.

And, once you develop those skills, you become much more attractive to work with,
than someone who can only talk about their product and their company.

People don’t actually join you for your products or your company.  They have a choice of hundreds or thousands of people they can join,  so why do they choose you?

What Causes People to BE Attracted to YOU?

1. Because you are a leader and people see that you have value to offer. They see that if they join you, they will get value from you. Either they want to be around you, or they want to learn about being successful from you, or they want to learn to make money like you do. AND/OR
2. You have a marketing system and marketing knowledge and training that you can teach them.

When you’re a powerful leader AND you can teach people how to market and advertise,
why would anyone join anybody else? You’ve got everything to offer them,  so why would your prospects  go anywhere else?

So… the most important thing you can do, is to focus your learning on  how to market and developing yourself as a leader.

When you do that, you’ll be attractive to your prospects, and you will attract new members to your business easily and effortlessly.
